In association with Aqua Enviro, based in Leeds, we have supplied glass as a filtration medium to secondary treatment plants to treat waste water in industrial installations prior to discharge into the water course.
The glass has consistently outperformed sand in removing waste solids and has proved easier to back flush when blinding has taken place.
